Industry: IoT / Water Intelligence
Country: Switzerland
Year: 2022
Team size: 11–50 employees
In full acceleration across European and international markets, Droople — a Swiss startup pioneering “water intelligence” — develops IoT/AI technology capable of connecting and monitoring any point of water consumption.
With its smart sensors and analytics platform, the company enables industrials, operators, and facility managers to reduce water usage, anticipate maintenance, and achieve ESG goals.

Operating in a technical sector that combines hardware, software, and data, Droople faces a dual challenge: clearly explaining how the technology works, demonstrating its real-world applications across use cases, and proving measurable impact for each user profile.
Project Challenge
In this context, the company turned to Digidop to design a web strategy capable of showcasing the value proposition of its IoT/AI technology — and turning it into a driver for international growth.
Project Objectives
Marketing
- Explain the complete functioning of the solution: hardware and software.
- Illustrate the tangible benefits: economic, technical, environmental.
- Position Droople as a reference in water intelligence worldwide.
- Strengthen brand image and credibility through events, awards, and recognition.
Technical
- Build a scalable technical foundation for the marketing team.
- Integrate interactive elements connected to Droople’s software APIs to display real-time KPIs.
- Add multilingual functionality to address international markets.
Our Solution
To meet these goals, we assembled a dedicated project team — project manager, designer, developer, and API integrator — working directly with Droople’s marketing team.
An initial scoping phase allowed us to define several actions to clarify Droople’s value proposition and support its international positioning.
1. Tech-focused, product-centered design
Following workshops and an IoT/cleantech sector benchmark, our design team created a new look & feel — tech, minimalist, and accessible. The aim: put the product front and center, inspire trust, and highlight its technological depth.

2. Clear presentation of hardware and software solutions
We redesigned the site architecture to explain the entire solution flow — from smart sensors to the analytics software. Each component is presented with its concrete benefits, supported by diagrams and visuals for clarity across all visitor profiles.

3. Industry-specific, illustrated use cases
To help each target — industrials, operators, facility managers — envision the solution, we integrated dedicated pages for specific use cases, showing implementation, tracked KPIs, and measurable outcomes.

4. Interactive elements connected to Droople’s APIs
To make the data tangible, we embedded dynamic modules on the site connected directly to Droople’s software APIs, displaying real-time KPIs.

5. A scalable, multilingual Webflow site
The entire site was built on a Webflow architecture designed for easy management by the marketing team and scalability: component library, custom CMS, and templated pages. The platform was deployed in multiple languages to support Droople’s international growth.
