Frequently Asked Questions about our Strategy & Discovery Services
Why run a discovery engagement before starting a web project?
Taking the time to properly define your web project helps clarify your objectives, scope, and priorities.
This upfront investment makes execution smoother, speeds up delivery, reduces costs and the risk of mistakes, and ensures the final result is much better aligned with your business goals.
What does the final deliverable include?
At the end of the engagement, you’ll receive a comprehensive project brief that includes our recommendations for your objectives, project scope, CMS and technology stack, web architecture, roadmap, and governance.
This document can then serve as the foundation for launching your project, evaluating multiple agencies, or moving forward with Digidop.
How do you choose the recommended CMS and technology stack?
The choice of CMS and technologies is based on a combination of technical requirements, business goals, and budget.
We evaluate each solution based on your hosting requirements, integrations, the level of autonomy your marketing team needs, performance, design flexibility, scalability, and the total cost of ownership.
How can Digidop help us prepare an RFP for a website redesign?
We can help you prepare your RFP through a discovery engagement consisting of one to five workshops lasting one to two hours each. This approach combines an audit of your current website, an analysis of your market and competitors, and a proven methodology for structuring your project.
By the end of the engagement, you’ll have a clear project brief, a well-defined scope, and everything you need to evaluate agencies with confidence.
If you’d rather prepare your project independently, we also provide a free guide and a website project brief template to help you through every step of the process.
Who takes part in the discovery workshops?
Digidop is a founder-led agency. That means you’ll work directly with one of our founders throughout your project.
Our strategy engagements are typically led by a founder, supported by a web designer and a solutions architect (developer).
How do you use AI during the discovery engagement?
We use AI to accelerate audits, explore multiple scenarios, and quickly create prototypes to validate ideas.
It helps us move faster, but every recommendation and decision is ultimately made by our consultants.
Can Digidop also deliver the project after the strategy phase?
Yes—provided the technical scope aligns with our expertise.
At Digidop, we don’t stop at strategy. Our team can take ownership of the entire project, from web design and development to ongoing optimization.
This continuity ensures the project is executed in line with the decisions made during the strategy phase.
That said, there are cases where we choose not to handle implementation ourselves. This is typically true for business applications or complex ecommerce projects that require technologies outside our area of expertise. In those situations, we can still support the discovery phase and help you find the right solution or implementation partner.
