Having a website is great, but having a website with content is even better! The content of a website is what sets it apart from another besides design and UX. However, filling in the various pages of your website can be a tedious task. Today, we will show you a simple and effective method to add your content to your web pages.

In our article, we will assume that you have neither resources nor much time. The purpose of this article is to propose different ways to fill your site quickly and productively, step by step.

1. Adding visuals to a website

1.1 Adding images or videos

To incorporate images or videos without taking too much time, you can use free stock image banks. There are plenty of options, but we recommend the following three:

  1. Pexels
  2. Unsplash
  3. Freepik
  4. Midjourney

Once on one of the sites, simply type in your keyword, choose your image (or video), download it, and insert it where appropriate.

1.2 Adding icons

Similarly to images, there are also libraries for icons. Search for the icon that best fits your needs and add it to your website. We recommend the following sites for downloading your icons in SVG format:

  1. Iconify
  2. Icons8
  3. Flaticon

To go further: discover how to add SVG icons via HTML code.

2. Adding text to a website
