Key points

To finalize the redesign of our website, we needed new photos. And we know from experience with our clients that photos and videos always are an important challenge, and directly influencing the final result of the site.

A challenge that was brilliantly tackled by our partner Heka, who, one year after producing our “The Story of Digidop” video, captured photos that perfectly reflect Digidop’s DNA and our new corporate positioning.

The Stakes

Photos and videos directly impact the perception of a website. For our new site, digidop.com, we had three main goals:

  • Authenticity: The photos should appear natural and authentic.
  • Integration: They should integrate seamlessly with the site’s design.
  • Emotion: They should evoke emotions and create a connection with the audience.

All while reinforcing and reassuring clients about the agency’s capabilities and our new corporate positioning.

The Photo Shoot

Operationally, we took advantage of a seminar with the Digidop team to bring in the Heka team, who leveraged their dual expertise to assist in the production of new videos (coming soon) and a photo shoot.

The photo shoot took place over two half-days (to keep us looking our best) in Paris and included:

  • Posed portraits
  • Natural shots while we were working
  • Staged photos (the more… complex ones)

And, as the saying goes, “A picture is worth a thousand words”… and today, we have dozens of new photos! We’ll leave it to you to judge the results through images.

Our Partner: Heka

For this project, we once again turned to our long-time partner, Heka. Heka is a video and communications agency that previously helped us create our agency’s introductory video.

Since then, we’ve worked regularly with them on various projects, especially when redesigning client websites (Morfo, Teampact, and others.), where their video and photo services complement each other our webdesign work.

We firmly believe that the partners we recommend directly impact our reputation. That’s why we’ve chosen to work exclusively with a select few, trusted partners. Heka is one of them.
