This year, there was only one official Webflow conference and it took place in NYC. The event was condensed over a few days, with the Partner Summit kicking things off.
Thomas and I were there, and in this article, we’re sharing our experience.
Webflow Partner Summit 2025
Unlike Toronto last year, this second edition of the Partner Summit was held the day before the main conference—and directly on site. A much simpler setup (which we appreciate), reducing costs for both Webflow and us.
This year, it was clear during the Partner Summit that two main trends emerged:
- Webflow wants to strengthen its Partner Program and better support its partners (clients, visibility, features).
- Webflow aims to accelerate growth in the European market.
Two trends we were able to benefit from firsthand. And on that day, we had:
(1) The opportunity to be interviewed
Sharing our experience with the Partner Program in a co-marketing initiative with Webflow.

(2) The chance to coordinate with the EMEA team
Collaborating with the Webflow EMEA team on the upcoming October event in Paris for the Webflow Momentum Tour.

Webflow Conf 2025
The day after the Partner Summit was the big one: Webflow’s annual conference. And this year, Webflow clearly stepped up its game.
Recap of the announcements

In our weekly newsletter, Lucas, Head of Development at Digidop, broke down the main announcements. Here’s a summary:
- AI Assistant: A chatbot integrated into the Designer that helps create and edit sections.
- AI Web App Generation: Another chatbot, similar to Lovable, that lets you create and deploy web apps on Webflow Cloud.
- Code Components: Ability to import React components into the Designer and edit them via component props.
- AI-assisted SEO: One-click generation of metadata, alt texts, and structured data using AI.
- Real-time collaboration: Multiple teammates can now work on the same page simultaneously and visually see who is editing what.
- Comment-only links: Allow people without a Webflow account to leave comments directly in the Designer.
- Component Canvas: A dedicated space to create and edit components while previewing how changes affect all variants.
- GSAP Engine Updates: Control animations by breakpoint and handle prefers-reduced-motion for better accessibility.
- Improved CMS: Twice as many collections per page, five times more nested collections, three levels of nesting, and higher item limits for Enterprise plans.
- Cloudflare infrastructure improvements: Faster and more secure websites.
- Analyze & Optimize upgrades: Conversion tracking, traffic insights from LLMs, and direct integration of the AI assistant into the Webflow interface.
- Forms update: Settings now available at the form level (instead of site-wide), with greater flexibility and a new anti-spam inbox.
Our expert take on these new features
“Beyond AI, it feels like Webflow focused on improving what already exists: CMS limits, the built-in GSAP engine, Cloudflare hosting infrastructure… Nothing groundbreaking, but solid improvements to strengthen the core of Webflow, which is a smart move.”— Lucas Clairet, Head of Webflow Development at Digidop
A well-covered event
On social media, Webflow was everywhere this week! And that’s great news.

In 2025, social media is one of the most powerful distribution channels in the industry. And I was happy to see that Webflow Conf had massive reach. Smart choices were made by the team (on-site photographers, influencer partnerships on Instagram, and high-profile speakers) to ensure strong communication throughout the event.
This level of visibility will likely influence LLM recommendations in the coming months, and more importantly, increase traction and curiosity from companies.
Final thoughts
It’s always hard to form a solid opinion on the day of—or right after—the announcements. But a few days after Webflow Conf 2025, I believe Webflow did an excellent job this year getting across three key messages:
- As users and partners, we are being heard and supported.
- Webflow is doing its best to adapt quickly in a fast-moving ecosystem—especially with AI transforming both development and search (AEO, Vibe Coding).
- The conference was highly corporate, premium, and perfectly aligned with what Webflow has become—and where it’s heading.
And above all…
- Webflow continued to focus on its fundamentals, strengthening its infrastructure and CMS. These may not be the flashiest announcements—but they’re essential to preserve something both fragile and vital in any long-term relationship: trust.
